City or county, and appearance review
Addresses inside city limits are generally reviewed by the City of Boca Raton, while some addresses with a Boca Raton mailing address are in unincorporated Palm Beach County. Inside the city, building permits that involve exterior alterations or signs may also be subject to Community Appearance Board review; city staff determine during permit review whether a project requires it. We confirm both before submittal. Review times and decisions remain with the reviewing bodies.
Renovating an occupied office
Many Boca Raton practices are in medical plazas where landlords set rules on working hours, noise and shared systems. For occupied offices we plan phases, utility shutdowns and after-hours work with you and the landlord. Whether patients can keep being seen during a phase depends on the scope and the building’s rules, and we lay that out before work starts.
What we build
From your approved drawings: operatories and sterilization areas; chair plumbing, vacuum and compressed air; electrical, data and HVAC for clinical rooms; imaging rooms prepared for shielding specified by a qualified expert; and medical gas installed by appropriately qualified, licensed contractors per project requirements, all to the approved documents and applicable accessibility requirements.

Existing dental office or converted commercial suite?
Established dental offices change hands often here. If the drains, vacuum and air lines and layout work, renovation can focus on finishes and equipment, though older suites may need accessibility updates and electrical capacity for current imaging. An office or retail conversion needs new under-slab plumbing, a mechanical room and new circuits, but lets the layout follow your workflow.
